Beni (DRC) : an ADF attack in Kasindi-Lubiriha leaves three dead, including an attacker

Last Friday, attackers carried out an armed attack at the Kasindi-Rubiriha border post. It is in the Basongora groupment in the Beni territory in North Kivu (eastern DRC). At least three people were killed, others injured and property including vehicles burned. INFO SOS Médias Burundi

The attackers were identified as ADF (Allied Democratic Forces), according to local sources.

“They arrived on Friday night. They killed two civilians. We found their bodies on Saturday morning. But there was also the corpse of an attacker”, reports the coordinator of the New Congolese cvil cociety group of the Basongora groupment.

Denis Kalenga Serges specifies that two other people were injured and vehicles burned.

Earlier this week, 26 civilians were killed in another attack in the Masosi neighborhood of Oicha district. It was also attributed to the ADF.
