Gitega: a corpse discovered
A body of a man who has not been identified, was discovered on Thursday afternoon in the locality of Rutoke. It is in the district and province of Gitega (central Burundi). He was killed using clubs, according to the local administration.

The deceased was approximately 35 years old, according to witnesses.
The macabre discovery was confirmed by Privat Ntiranyibagira, the Rutoke village chief who says he does not know the motives for the murder.
This administration representative says that the man was killed using clubs. A solar panel was found not far from where the body was found. Residents believe that the deceased was beaten up to death by the owners of this panel after stealing it.
Local police say no suspects have been identified yet.
