Bujumbura : A senior army officer missing
Major Ernest Nimubona, working at the army chief’s office was last seen this Friday evening in Bujumbura town. (SOS Médias Burundi)
According to his family, Major Nimubona is unseen in all customers and hospitals until present.
“We looked for him in all custodies, but in vain. We thought that he had a car accident. We also looked for him in hospitals. His car is also unseen,” testifies a member of his family.
Police sources say his car was reportedly last seen in the direction of the neighborhood of Nyabugete (south Bujumbura). The officer was reportedly seen with another person in the car.
Police indicate that investigations have already started to find him.
