The Congolese and Ugandan armies have increased attacks against ADF fighters in recent times. The coalition claims to have “disbanded the enemy”.

In addition to this human toll, several rebel-ADF materials were recovered by Congolese and Ugandan forces, Colonel Mak Hazukay said.

The coalition reassures of its determination to “restore state authority in areas troubled by ADF terrorists, particularly in Beni and Ituri”.

This Sunday, December 11, two ADF fighters were captured by coalition forces during a joint patrol in the territory of Beni on the Beni-Kasindi road axis.

Recently, several women, including Burundians and Kenyans, were saved from the hands of Ugandan rebels. They say they were “deceived” by friends or relatives that they were going to “pray in Congo” before ending up in the forests “doing the will of the ADF”.
