Nyabihanga: two Imbonerakure in detention
Emmanuel Ndimurirwo and César Sinduhijimana are detained at the provincial police station in Mwaro (central Burundi) since Wednesday of last week. Native of Nyabihanga commune (same province), they are prosecuted for rape and harassment. INFOS SOS Médias Burundi
It is Emmanuel Ndimurirwo also known as l’homme, who allegedly raped a young girl from Miterama hill in Nyabihanga commune, sources says. But things turned bad after the act, sources added.
Days later, the alleged rapist couldn’t be able to do marital duty, say sources close to the case who speak of “fetishism” say.
He sought the sought help of the intelligence officer at the Nyabihanga commune and a certain César Sinduhijimana, communal CNDD-FDD party’s youth league leader.
“The aim was to intimidate the girl to cure Emmanuel”, according to our sources.
“The three men intimidated her, knives in hand, and the girl agreed to sleep twice with Emmanuel”.
The victim’s parents sued all the three who were then arrested and jailed at provincial police station in Mwaro.
The head of the secret services in Mwaro was released days later.
Emmanuel Ndimurirwo is a teacher as César Sinduhijimana is the director of a fundemental school.
The victim’s family pleads for “the safey of our child” and demand an independent judicial investigations.
The incident took place two week ago.
