INFO SOS Médias Burundi
It is passers-by who first saw the body of this judicial police officer lying next to the motorcycle. Information confirmed by Modeste Ngendakumana, Rukoba village chief. He assumes the victim died in a driving accident.
According to the same source, the body rests in the morgue of the regional hospital of Gitega (political capital) while the motorcycle is at the provincial police station.
Other sources say that Lionel Bizoza was killed but that the perpetrators of the crime faked an accident to distort the investigations.
