Makamba: two COOPEC agents in detention

The two men were arrested on Saturday May 18.
According to sources close to their families, after their arrest, they were first taken to the home of the head of the National Intelligence Service (SNR) in Makamba province, Liévin Tuyishemeze.
There, they were only questioned about their identification (first and last name and date of birth).
At the start of Saturday evening, they were transferred to the cell of the Makamba district police station by the head of the SNR.
Relatives of the two men are calling for their release because they were arrested without presenting an arrest warrant or search warrant.
The two detainees are part of the organs of COOPEC (Savings and Credit Cooperative) in Nyanza-Lac. Oscar Niyukuri is responsible for recovery and Firmin Nzeyimana is on the board of directors of the same Savings and Credit Cooperative.
