Cibitoke: watu 15 walipatikana na ugongwa wa kipindipindu kwa kipindi cha chini ya wiki mbili eneo la Rugombo
Janga la kipindipindu linaripotiwa katika eneo la Mparambo tarafani Rugombo mkoa wa Cibitoke (kaskazini magharibi mwa Burundi) tangu wiki mbili zilizopita. Wagonjwa 15 walipatikana. Visa vya maradhi ya kipindipindu vinaripotiwa mnamo siku chache zilizopita katika eneo la mkoa wa Cibitoke kwenye mwambao wa mto wa Rusizi, unatofautisha nchi za Burundi na DRC. Angalau watu 15 waliopatikana na ugonjwa huo walipokelewa katika huduma ya dharura ya kituo cha afya cha Rugombo.
Wagonjwa wote kulingana na vyanzo katika utawala wanatoka katika kijiji cha Mparambo I tarafani Rugombo kwenye umbali wa kilometa kumi kutoka makao makuu ya mkoa.

Regideso ( mamlaka ya umaa ya maji na umeme) inashiriki pia ili maji safi yapatikane. Eneo lililoathiriwa linakabiliwa na ukosefu wa huduma hiyo.
Viongozi wa afya mkoani Cibitoke wanafahamisha kuwa kampeni ya kuwahamasisha raia imeanza kwa ushirikiano na viongozi tawala.
