According to residents, the girl was raped successively by these three boys.

“She went to the home of one of these boys at his invitation. She thought she was visiting him and didn’t suspect anything. The visit turned bad. Three young people raped her successively and took care to film the scene”, lament residents of the Kanyenkoko neighborhood.

This information is confirmed by a police source that spoke to SOS Médias Burundi on condition of anonymity. It indicates that the three boys were arrested and that their file was sent to the public prosecutor’s office in Rumonge to be set before the Court.

The victim has since been admitted to the provincial hospital, according to medical sources.

The three perpetrators of the rape should be tried in a flagrant trial, we have learned.
