Ituri: angalau wananchi 28 waliuwawa katika mashambulizi ya waasi
Jumapili iliyopita, waasi wa kundi la silaha la CODECO (shirikisho kwa ajili ya maendeleo ya Kongo) walifanya mashambulizi katika maeneo mbali mbali ya mkoa wa Ituri mashariki mwa DRC. Vyanzo vya ndani vinasema raia 28 waliuwawa, mali na madawa vikaibiwa. Mashambulizi hayo yalilenga vijiji na maeneo ya Bahema-kaskazini ndani ya wilaya ya Djugu, kwa mjibu wa mashahidi.

Mashambulizi hayo yalidaiwa kutekelezwa na CODECO wakati ambapo kundi hilo hivi karibuni lilishiriki katika mazungumzo ya Nairobi (Kenya) ambapo walisaini mkataba wa amani mkoa wa Ituri.
